Star Trek Earrings: these are a solid piece of wood with a stainless steel post, it's sturdy and well cut. I purchased the command insignia. It looks great and it's even lightly painted with gold to give it a bit of a shimmer - I say lightly because it's still obviously wood but does have a metallic sheen. It's great work and a nice touch. I love these earrings - you'll make your trekkie friends envious with them! They "pop" just enough to be noticed and not be pretentious. Really great earrings! Pictures posted by the seller are accurate to what you receive.
